Talvar Dam supplies water to 7,500 hectares of the Khorkhoreh Plain in Bijar County, Kurdistan Province. This dam is made of earth with a clay core, has a height of 88 meters from the base and a crest length of 529 meters, and with a total reservoir volume of 500 million cubic meters, it regulates 231 million cubic meters of water annually.
